Family being presented with prize cheque The Kinder Appeal is the charitable fund that supports the work of the Children’s Renal and Urology Unit and EMEESY children's kidney network.

It is a part of Nottingham Hospitals Charity.

On this part of the website you can see examples of how charitable funds are used to support children with kidney disease and their families.

2025 is the 40th anniversary of the Nottingham Children's Renal Unit and we want to celebrate by raising £40,000 for the Kinder Appeal

Great fundraising efforts in 2013 lead to recognition as we were joint winners of the NUH Honours Award as fundraisers of the year. In 2014, Claire Hardy, the team's play specialist who is behind many of the fundraising events, won an NUH Honours Award as the Fundraiser of the Year. Well done Claire!
