Azathioprine Oral Suspension

A new licensed Azathioprine oral suspension has been released by Nova.

The brand is called Jayempi and patients on azathioprine liquid will receive this with their next prescription rather than their previous unlicensed brand.

The strength of the liquid is unchanged therefore children should continue to take the same dose as previously.

The bottle can be stored at room temperature and has a 12 week expiry once opened.
