We didn't think we could improve on Birmingham but decided after that Newport had been just as good!

Our accommodation this year was in Cardiff but it only took 15 minutes to drive to all the venues. We fielded our biggest team ever of 19 children and young people.

At the Donor Run along the river in Newport, Zahora caused a bit of a sensation by stopping to say hello to everyone she passed on the way!

No sandflies at the pizza party this year. Then we all scrubbed up well for the Gala Dinner at the Celtic Manor Hotel, where Polly was awarded a best female athlete award!
