Martin thumbnailI am delighted to be able to welcome you to the new EMEESY website.

There has been a website for the Children's Kidney Unit in Nottingham for some time, as pages within the NUH website.  But to fit alongside the EMEESY network, we felt its new website should be separate from NUH and with some charitable monies to be able to invest in an indepently-designed website, we invited tenders from 3 website companies.

We are very pleased with the format that the team from Volute have designed for us and hope that you wil be too.  At present, we have opted for a fairly simple style - a shop window of our services and single place for professionals and patient/carers alike to be able to access a range of resources:
  • patients and their parents can access simple information such as local shared-care clinic dates and contact details for local clinics or information about their kidney disease (either our own information or other quality information through linked websites)
  • professionals can find information out about forthcoming education meetings, or the presentations from previous meetings, or Nottingham guidelines and a range of other resources for their patients
It is our hope that you will find this website interesting and helpful.  The beauty of internet communication is that it can continually evolve without too much effort and we hope that this website too will continually be updating information and broadening the range of resources it contains.

Please let us know what you think about our website and please tell us of any glitches.  We need to know about techie stuff like broken links or pages that don't display well on your browser but we also want to know if this is the sort of information you would like and whether there are important things that we haven't included.

Please email any comments This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  We look forward to hearing your feedback!
